Frequently Asked Questions
Please reach us at mg@inhomecaresolutionsco.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
1. What is nanny placement and how does it work at InHome Care Solutions?
Our nanny placement service pairs families with experienced, vetted nannies, newborn care specialists, or family assistants. After a detailed family intake, we provide a shortlist of 2–3 fully screened candidates, facilitate interviews, and offer a trial period plus ongoing support to ensure a long-term fit.
2. How does the nanny screening process work?
We use a rigorous 12-step vetting process including application review, multi-stage interviews, reference and employment checks, identity and background screening, driving record review, social media evaluation, CPR/first-aid certification confirmation, and continuous post-placement evaluation.
3. What types of nanny placements are available?
We offer both full-time (30+ hours/week) and part-time (15–29 hours/week) nanny placement. Full-time placements provide consistent daily support, while part-time options suit families needing flexible, occasional assistance.
4. What’s included in your nanny placement service?
Our service includes a customized intake session, targeted marketing and recruitment, professional candidate interviews, contract negotiation (hourly rate, duties, benefits), a two-day working trial, and a 12-month replacement guarantee for full-time placements (six months for part-time).
5. What is the trial period policy?
Families receive a two-day working trial to assess the nanny’s compatibility and fit before finalizing the placement.
6. What guarantees or replacements are offered?
Full-time placements include a 12-month replacement guarantee (one free replacement), while part-time placements include a six-month replacement period.
7. How do I start the nanny placement process?
Begin by completing our registration form or scheduling a discovery call. Then pay the one-time search deposit, participate in a family assessment, and we’ll initiate the candidate search and screening.
8. Where does InHome Care Solutions operate?
We proudly serve families in Cleveland, Ohio, and across the United States seeking personalized and trustworthy in-home childcare services.
9. How do you ensure the nanny aligns with our family values and parenting style?
Through an in-depth intake and family assessment, we understand your values, routines, and childcare preferences. This allows us to make thoughtful, personalized matches based on both practical needs and emotional compatibility.
10. Do nannies have CPR and first-aid training?
Yes—all our nanny candidates are required to hold current CPR and first-aid certifications, or to complete them prior to placement.
